Metallics – Obtaining a mirror image.

I have been asked many times, how I have obtained the polished, shiny silver mirror image you can see on the 2 huge spikes of the shoulder guard, the armour corset and the various ends of the Blue Talos Blade Master

I have tired various methods but none worked out like this one and it is quite a simple one too.  The first thing you have to do is  to go to any hardware store and buy a can of Chrome spray paint.

The chrome really give that polished mirror effect.  Just spray it on the interested area after you have undercoated it.  I suggest you use a white undercoat so as to have a brighter result.  Be also sure to totally smooth out the undercoat so that you will have a clean and smooth polished metal look.

Once dry you can shade the interested area any colour you want.  Be sure not to over do it or you might loose the mirror effect.  I suggest you line out with black the deeper areas of the interested part so as to add dimension to part.

Highlight is not needed since you will not obtain a brighter colour than the chrome.
