The SD Kirin Blade Master figure took around 52 hours of work to complete.  It comes with a custom base which resembles a by the river hunting scene.  This base was hand crafted and painted by me and is unique to this kit only.

The figure will arrive divide in parts this to facilitate the posting and avoid damage to it as much as possible.  It will require some minimum but very simple assembly and some super glue is recommended before being able to display the figure.  

An incredible amount of cleaning and test fitting had to be done to assure that all 53 parts were totally clean and ready for paint.  This took quite a lot of the time invested in creating this work of art in the form of a figure. 

 Painting a figure with so many pieces, all of which are small and all of them are quite detailed is never an easy task. Lots of hand painting and masking had to be pre planned carefully in order not to encounter much trouble.  Lots of care had to be given to match all the parts without damaging the paint.  The skin tones were quite hard to achieve with such small parts.  Even the Kirin’s skin was quite difficult to paint with the right feel.  This figure had lots of little details which if taken good care of like I did, really make the figure stand out of the rest.  Extreme care was taken also in painting the eyes, which are the focal point of this figure making it look very cute over all.
